Three Maltese deejays will be signing with an international record label

The music of local artists Paul Hamilton, Cathy K and Vulturem was chosen by Univack Records to be released from next month – October 2023.

Three Maltese deejays and producers Paul Hamilton, Cathy K and Vulturem on the 6th of October are going to release two progressive house tracks with the names of Clichan and Luke –  two Maltese boys after asking permission from their parents they decided to dedicate these two tracks for them. These boys have passed and are still passing a lot from their lives.

Cathy K is a deejay and producer for around 18 years and she’s been producing music for the past 7 years. Cathy varies her music in different genre such as house, tech house, progressive house, melodic house and afro house and she’s been playing in various local clubs with stable local and international DJ’s. Apart from this Cathy has signed with various renowed record labels including Bonzai, Joof Recording, Deepwide Underground, Droid 9 and Soundteller Records. Also she made it to the top 100 top charts around the world.

Paul Hamilton was the first Maltese progressive house deejay and producer who made it to various clubs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi was chosen from the production houses of Armin van Buren, Ruben de Ronde and David Lewis to deejay in the world’s most prestigious festival. He is also signed with renowed production record labels around the world with more than 20 yearsexperience in this industry. He also had the privilage to win the best world deejay. Paul at this moment is touring around the world deejaying in various clubs.

Duncan Pace also known as with the stage name Vulturem is a new artist in this music industry. Under his mentor Cathy K he began to learn deejing and also he played and plays in various local clubs. Under Cathy he also began to learn music production and also getting advises from Paul Hamilton. With his idea that shared with Paul and Cathy they decided to unite for these collaborations and finalising these tracks. It is something of courage that keeps you going when seeing these results especially when working and collaborating with Maltese producers like you that have already such an experience in this industry and there is always something to learn from them.

This industry brings a big competition in itself for the fact that hundreds of tracks are released with these record labels and makes it difficult to be in top 100 main charts. Everytime an artist sign a contract with these record labels it is not an easy thing as these labels search for good talent and quality.
