These are learned skills that will be utilized over a lifetime. During the childhood stage of development is when many social aspects can be learned and reinforced through positive praise and recognition.
This is simply a brilliant book, as it also looks to explore accepting other differences as our society continues to progress towards a more diverse population and climate.
I could not put this book down, even though it’s written for kids, I believe adults will enjoy it also, as much as I did. Highly recommended for both girls and boys.
All in all, this book is an easy and fun read. The writing is beautiful and the storyline is simple and very character driven.
