Anthony travels by train, plane, and boat. Along his travels, he meets several of the state’s animals and insects. He even gets to ride in a race car and attend a horseshow. The names of the animals that Anthony meets are in an alliterative form such as Herman Horse. There is a parade at the end of the book and includes a glossary.
I quite enjoyed this book, as it includes so many fun facts about Alabama. It’s also an educational book, highly recommended for anyone who works with children aged six to eight years.
Really enjoyed this book and hope that many people especially kids will find some joy in reading it.
