Interview with Author Vaso Eleftheriou
Author Vasso Eleftheriou was born and raised in Larnaca, Cyprus. She has studied Psychology and Life Coaching and is a motivational speaker in various self-development seminars.
She is the head of the legal department of a private firm. This book is her first attempt at writing Literature. She is into photography and research.
Tell me more about your latest book
It’s a book for discovering our true self. The story is the battle between good and evil. Many elements derived from the Greek Mythology. It’s a story of Raphaella, her uncle Demetris, Miltos, Sheikh Al-Raya, Goddess Eos, Antares, Galatios and the holly blue rose. As the plot continually grow each hero will face his worst fear.
What was the most challenging aspect of writing this book?
The most challenging aspects were to write with the most realistically way for the astrical field as well as the way that other civilization looking and face human civilization. One more challenging aspect was the personalities of the heroes of the astrical field, Goddess Eos, Posidonia, Sirius, Antares, Galatios. Also, the transformation from good to evil was very challenging as this should be given with reasons and real excuses.
What is your normal procedure to get your books published?
Once I finalized and I was very sure for the plot, I found a good editor. I reviewed his editions and once I approved the final story was ready. Then I started to sent the query letter along with the synopsis to many publishers.
Do you view writing as a kind of spiritual practice?
Yes, this is very much truth for me. I love to write stories in many genres not in one or two as I adore to create very differently. Firstly, I write for myself. If the story is not inspired me, I will not write at all. Writing is like a weapon to me as gives me power and purpose in life to express my inside world.

If a story has a vision, this is the best advertisement.

How hard or easy is it to establish and maintain a career in writing?
Under the current conditions is very hard to establish and maintain a career as a writer as many people pursuit the same. I never demand or request anything from the writing, because writing gives me a lot thus a balance is created. I write because I love it and this is a great inspiration in my life to create stories from nothing.
What is your advice for aspiring writers?
Always to believe in their selves, their talent on writing and never give up on their dreams and visions.
