Tell me more about your latest book

This book is an erotic lesbian novel which tells the story of Sam as she falls in love for the first time and struggles to come out to her friends and family.

My name is Sam, and this is my story – how I met a woman, how she unravelled a side of me I never even knew existed, a physical, adventurous, reckless self. This is the story of how I fell in love for the first time and how I struggled to share my new life with my friends and family. This is the story of how I frantically sought an answer to the question we’ve all asked ourselves… Who am I?

What was the most challenging aspect of writing this book?

I started writing my book when I was at a bit of a cross road in my life. I had a rough idea in my head of a story so I sat down and created characters etc. Then I started writing. I loved it and found the words just flowed. Luckily for me I didn’t find it challenging and I only actually got through a third of the story I had planned, so watch this space for the next two books!

What is your normal procedure to get your books published?

I researched and chose a popular London publishing house.

Do you view writing as a kind of spiritual practice?

I found it therapeutic, but not spiritual.

How many books have you written so far?

This is my first book.

How hard or easy is it to establish and maintain a career in writing?

Not applicable to me as this is just a hobby.

What is your advice for aspiring writers?

Follow your heart and write about something that you feel passionate about.
