Tell me more about your latest book

Big Sis, Little Sis Quarantine is about two sisters that have to learn how to be patient dure to the current pandemic.  We have never experienced anything like this in our lifetime, so it’s a huge adjustment for everyone involved.

What was the most challenging thing about writing this book?

Writing and illustrating was actually the easiest part.  I would say the challenge emerged as I was doing to publishing.  Let me explain, the uploading of the images and getting the dimensions and margins correct was my biggest issue.

What is your normal procedure to get your books published?

Procedure, would be write, edit, illustrate, work margins and dimensions. Upload script, and publish.

Do you view writing as a kind of spiritual practice?

I think its very therapeutic, for some people it can be spiritual, but for me, I enjoy telling the story.

How many books have you written so far?

I have written 2 before this one, but they are rough cuts.  This one is my first published book however, there will be more.  Like I mention before, the 2 previous will be updated and added to the collection and I have 3 more in the brainstorm phase. Along with a short story.

What’s the best way to market your books?

Word of mouth, sharing links, promotional marketing and putting myself out there and letting people know about it.

How hard or easy is it to establish and maintain a career in writing?

I think there are plenty of opportunities to become a writer.  I’m not sure where my writing will take me, but I do know I love sharing my stories with others, and what better way then to share them than to write about it.

What is your advice for aspiring writers?

Don’t force a story, the stories will come when they are needed, and Never give up on your dreams, it just takes patience and determination. You can do anything you put your mind to.
