Tell me more about your latest book

Go Away COVID! Builds off of Puppet Pals mission of promoting healthy habits. The main objective of writing Go Away COVID! Was to provide a resource for children to better understand the COVID-19 pandemic and explain why building healthy habits during the pandemic is important.

What was the most challenging aspect of writing this book?

For me the most challenging aspect of writing a children’s book was being able to break down complex concepts—such as viruses in a way a child could understand and resonate with.

What is your normal procedure to get your books published?

This is my first book that I am publishing! I launched it on the crowd funding platform, Kickstarter to raise awareness and the fund the book before sending it to the printing presses.

How hard or easy is it to establish and maintain a career in writing?

Writing is not a “get rich” career. Very few writers are actually able to do it as their full time job. I’m fortunate enough to incorporate writing into my business product line and have my company publish my work.

What is your advice for aspiring writers?

Go for it! You only live once and if writing is something that your aspire to do then take the plunge and give it a try!
