The Mole and the Sunglasses is a children’s book written by Author Juliana Sheikh. This book takes children down underground and into the world of Mr Mole – who is about to embark on the adventure of his life.
It’s story plot is about Mr Mole who loves his cosy underground home that’s filled with yummy, scrummy, buggy food. He lives on a family farm owned by his dear friends Jac and his mum. He finds himself in quite the predicament though!
We follow Mr Mole as he leaves his home and goes on an unexpected adventure up into the big world above.
With a total of 42 pages, and published by Wordzworth Publishing, The Mole and the Sunglasses is a very colourful book ideal for all kids. I liked the fact that in this book one can find fun facts about moles.
I must really say that I found this book very interesting even though it is targeted for kids. It reminded me that even the small creatures we take for granted are individuals with personalities, big hearts and emotions.
I really recommend this book for any kids and their families and it is also beautifully written and designed.
