35 years old, Author Corey Palmer was born and raised in Louisville KY.  He is a single father of a 7 years old daughter.  He started writing poetry at a young age, never took it serious till high school.  When he landed in jail house school for kids, he ended writing poetry – so he found a passion for it at that moment.

But after high school, even though the passion was there, he had fair share of problems police streets life.  Not till 2018, he got that passion again, plus he had his daughter full time with him.  In 2019 Corey Palmer decided to write his first book.

Tell me more about your latest book

^{Well my last book drooped on June 27th, 2020.  It is part two of my first book, and it has 103 poems talking about various topics of my life that had me transition from the streets to single father.}

What was the most challenging aspect of writing this book?

^{My challenge was myself.  Ultimately  was my biggest issue is committing to it, but biggest blessing when I wrote them.}

What is your normal procedure to get your books published?

^{Trade book for books, Podcast social media, Always stay relevant consistent market for books, Advice don’t let nothing stop your dreams, No matter what believe – simply believe and write daily.}

What motivated you to become an author?

^{My daughter is my motivation, plus change is my motivation to show people that it’s not where you come from, it’s what you do with it.}

How many books have you written so far?

^{Three books so far – more coming in 2021}

As an author, do you prefer the traditional book or online version? Why?

^{I personally like both – there are some books that I want to have on book shelf.  Then there are books that I like to have on e-book that I can read when ever I want.  So basically I enjoy both.}

How hard or easy is it to establish and maintain a career in writing?

^{That’s what I am working on now  – Self Promotion.}
