‘Dirty’ by Dabinique Magwood
Author Dabinique Magwood began her writing journey with poetry. She would spend hours on end reading and writing and she has written hundreds of poems to date. To-date she has written three novels. ‘Dirty’ is her latest one.
Published by Envision Publications last September, ‘Dirty’ is written in flowing English language.
Having read all this book myself, and even though it’s a novel, I enjoyed the whole story and I can see that it really came straight from the author’s heart. Dabinique’s mind is always going, and her writing is as eclectic as her reading tastes, so be on the lookout for more from the pen of D. Magwood.
The story’s plot is all about love – when one falls in love, they hope and pray that that same love is returned and is true to form. That is what Victoria Norman hoped for when she met a strikingly good-looking man named Damien Banks. He was what she was searching and praying for; a good man. A person that would love her like she was all that was needed and more. However, things change dramatically once she finds out that she is pregnant and decides to reveal this happy news to her love, Damien. The happy times and great sex aren’t enough to sway her from digging deeper and revealing the one thing that will make or break their relationship. She now has a decision to make, and it will turn out to be one of the hardest decisions she would ever have to make in her life. A love between two people turns multiple worlds into turmoil, leaving fire in its wake. And when the flames die down and the dust settles, one has to wonder who will remain standing?
There is so much to enjoy about this book, it’s hard to know where to begin. I enjoyed this fiction story so much, that it kept me hooked on chapter after chapter, wanting to know more and more what will happen next. Normally I mostly enjoy books with a maximum 20 chapters, but I must reveal that even though ‘Dirty’ has 27 chapters, I really wished the story will be never-ending.
Definitely a 5-star review for this book. I surely recommend ‘Dirty’ book. Author Dabinique Magwood proved me right that she still finds precious time to revel in her passion of writing and delve further into her career.
I recommend this book to persons who enjoy reading novels and flowing reading
