Interview with Author Rolito S. Salmo

Rolito S. Salmo is a full-time faculty member of the Technological University of the Philippines Visayas in the Electronics Technology Department. His more than 27 years of college teaching experience has given him knowledge in handling and managing varied student personalities. He obtained his Master of Engineering degree major in Electronics and Communications Engineering at the De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila, Philippines.

He lives with his wife Marites in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Their only daughter, Juliane, is a licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer.

Rolito loves nature and believes in the power of faith and focus. His interest in the study of the Holy Scripture at an early age has led him to fulfill his life purpose of inspiring others to greatness.

Ramona: Tell me more about your latest book

This is a book that introduces a formula whereby any individual who consciously uses this will surely attain what he wants. The formula can be applied in all areas of human lives, (like physical, mental, social, spiritual, etc.), and in any field, (like education, engineering, medicine, etc.).

The Energy Faith Focus formula is very powerful. Its power comes from laws that govern our universe, whether you believe these laws or not. By correctly applying this formula into your life, you can have, be, create or do anything you want.

This formula equates Energy or End Result as a function of one’s Faith and the amount of Focus he or she puts into. There is a direct relationship between these three variables, that is when one variable varies, there will be a corresponding effect on the other two. Also, the equal sign in this formula has meaning that symbolizes the inspired action one has to do in order to bring about the desired result.

I have creatively put the idea of manifestation in a mathematical and graphical concept in order for my readers to have some basis for self-evaluation. The concept is very intuitive, original and relevant. On the positive aspect, one can be sure of love, happiness, satisfaction, etc. On the other hand, in the negative direction, one can be sure of hatred, sorrow, displeasure, etc.

This powerful formula should only be applied to yield a positive end result because if it is deliberately used for negative end results destruction will surely occur.

Ramona: What was the most challenging aspect of writing?

The most challenging aspect of writing is writing to provide value, something that would give the reader a feeling of fulfillment or satisfaction. Write to educate, to entertain, to add knowledge and most of all to change lives for the better.

The “Energy Faith Focus formula” is my first book. It is just an introduction to the formula and its variables. It can guide a curious reader to its simple and yet deep concept of manifesting and/or explaining why things happen.

Ramona: What motivated you to become an author?

One thing that motivates me to become an author is the good feeling that I can contribute something to humanity. I get self-satisfaction to inspire others and make them realize their full potential. The other thing is to simplify the process of manifestation by a formula that replaces lengthy words of explanation.

Ramona: What brought you to write your books?

When I was younger, I prayed to the Lord that He would give me wisdom and a simple formula so that humanity would benefit from it. In 2009, that dream was realized. He led me to visualize, imagine and rationalize with this formula. I wrote the formula using the concept and symbols used in mathematics because of my background in Engineering. Hence, a mathematical, shortcut, general manifestation formula was born. The book is just a medium, a means to express and make this formula available to the public.

Ramona: What book or books have had a strong influence on you or your writing?

The number one book that has an influence on me is the Holy Bible, the Word of God. That is the first solid foundation of my life. I believe I am a created being and my Creator is the Creator of all heavens and the Earth. Other books are Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy, The Plain Truth Magazine by Herbert W. Armstrong. And many more.

Ramona: Do you prefer a traditional book or e-book/kindle? Why?

I have made my book available in different formats. My readers can get copies of my book in epub, PDF, e-book/kindle or paperback edition (see my book links below). I would like my readers to read my book in a format they are most comfortable with.

Ramona: What is your advice for aspiring writers?

First, they must develop an open-minded attitude. They must have that willingness to learn.

Second, they should study and use the concepts in my book “Energy Faith Focus” formula.

From there, fix the End result in mind, have the Faith that they can achieve what they want, develop that Focus thoughts and feelings, align or do the inspired actions necessary to whatever they desire.
