Shellee Ann Peters was born on June 19th 1995. She was born in a small town. She has been through a lot in her lifetime that includes 52 surgeries. Shellee had brain surgery first and many surgeries followed. She honestly shouldn’t be alive after everything, yet here she is.
Ramona: How long on average does it take you to write a book?
Shellee Ann Peters: This one in particular took 11 years.
Ramona: How many books have you written so far?
Shellee Ann Peters: One published so far and 10 still unfinished.
Ramona: Your book “My Crazy Life Part One: Shellee Ann Peters Life (Volume 1)” is your personal published book. It is a true story about a girl who went through way more then she deserved to. Let us know more about this book’s story.
Shellee Ann Peters: My life was crazy from the moment I was born. I went through 52 surgeries and survived all of them and I want to tell my tale.
Ramona: Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
Shellee Ann Peters: With this book, trying to save up all the money for my doctor’s papers and with all my fiction books, trying to get everything in order the way I want to tell it.
Ramona: What is the most difficult part of your artistic process?
Shellee Ann Peters: Trying to find the time to sit down and write everything down everything in order.
Ramona: What kind of research do you do, and how long do you spend researching before beginning a book?
Shellee Ann Peters: It depends what book I’m working on. With my first book I did a lot of research and it took a few years.
Ramona: What does literary success look like to you?
Shellee Ann Peters: Getting at least a sale on the market and making it to see your book on a store shelf.
