Brand new single and first EP for Thomas Hedley

After 15 singles in the past 5 years, Thomas Hedley is releasing his first EP. In fact, what makes this release a special one, is that 100 copies of the EP will be given free by Thomas to his fans, via Facebook.
The EP will be ready by the end of September, featuring the new single TURN OFF THE LIGHTS, which is already play-listed as one of the top songs on the main local radio stations, and was produced by Boris Cezek in Malta and Dan Pursey who also mixed the track in the UK.
Boris is a do-it-all, play-it-all producer, one of the best on the island. Dan is a top mixing sound engineer with 44 worldwide no.1, 8 in the USA . Most recently he had 2 number ones in the UK with The Wanted and JLS. His credits include Westlife – 6 Albums, Il Divo, Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, The Saturdays and Susan Boyle, whose debut album sold in excess of 8 million copies in the first 6 weeks and currently he is recording her second album.
Thomas has developed a fresh pop-rock style, with a retro 80s feel, by using the contrast of his unique voice and underlying synth sounds. This feel is currently undergoing a big revival, with the success made by bands like the killers, and more recently, Laroux. His sound has gone from guitar-based pop-rock, to a more elaborate mix of synths and guitar riffs.
The EP will also feature a new version of Thomas hit of this summer, THATs WHAT YOU ARE, and has benefitted from the mixing talents of Pursey in the UK. The track topped the local radio charts and is still being played very frequently. The EP will revisit the song MY FIRST LOVE, originally released in 2007, also refined by Pursey. Thomas has also begun work on a music video, which is will to be ready by the end of October.
